JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Teuk Saat 1001 is a Cambodian non-profit organization created in 2007 to act as the infrastructure supporting level for « 1001 Fontaines » project in Cambodia. The project focuses on the field of drinking water. It aims at improving rural populations’ health by allowing them to meet, in a sustainable manner, their drinking water needs, by themselves and without any specific infrastructure or expertise.

Now there are 42 sites (as of Dec 31, 2010) in Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Siem Reap and Pailin, i.e. more than 50.000 people drinking safe water every day. Teuk Saat 1001 is seeking 2 qualified Cambodian to fill the position of Community Facilitator to support the sites in Battambang and Siemreap Province.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Work in close liaison with community leaders to promote the project
• Regular monitoring of field activities and providing organized feedback
• Training and supervising community workers
• Actively assisting implementation activities within the communities
• Collecting qualitative and quantitative data/information, report writing
• Assisting with the communities in promotion and distribution drinking water

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in economic or marketing
• Cambodian national
• At least two years experiences in the related fields
• Good English language writing and speaking, French is a plus.
• Honest and responsible attitude; committed to achieving the programmed objectives
• Willingness to work in rural areas
• Ability to analyses information, prepare plans and reports
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy in Word, Excel and Power Point

Now I am working at Teuk Saat 1001

Today is the first day of my working at Teuk Saat 1001. I have many things to learn. I feel very exiting and a bit worry. But everything is ok. Happy to have the chance to work in this organization in the position of social marketing.

How to Download or Save Video from Facebook without any software

Here is the tips that you can download the video from Facebook or other side without any software

You can download FACEBOOK video easily without using any software. You can get FACEBOOK video from cache folder on your PC. Just follow as bellow:
For Internet explorer Browser: If you are using internet explorer browser, watch full video from facebook,
1. After watching full video, go at Tools> internet options> settings> view files

2 You will get a large size file with long name and unknown type there.
3 Copy and paste that file at desktop, this file is the video file in flv format
4 Rename it with flv extension, example 123.flv
5 play and enjoy video at your PC with flv player
If you don’t have FLV player, download free FLV player from here

For FireFox Browser: If you are using FireFox browser, you can get video in FLV format as above in similar manner but at different location, your downloaded video location is -
D:(or C:)> Documents and Settings> ADMIN (your Admin login)> Local Settings >Application Data> Mozilla> Firefox > Profiles (one by one)
Update: For new Firefox version, if you are not able to find “Application Data” after Local Settings, just add “\Application Data” on the address bar at Local setting folder. Here is the example – check
C:\Documents and Settings\HTC\Local Settings\Application Data
(edit C: and HTC with your harddrive and admin login name respectively. )

Other method for FireFox Users- You can also save and download facebook video by using Greasemonkey. First install and run Greasemonkey as given here. After installing greasemonkey, install this script . The description of Script is here

What should I have to prepare myself for the new Job? I have many things to prepare for my new job at Battambang province.

I study Chinese Language

On 6th Wednesday of January 2010, I start to study Chinese Language at International Chinese Center near Bak Touk High School in the Morning from Monday to Friday at 7:00am to 8:00am.
It is a nice class. I like to study very much. But I meet some problem becuase I am the new student in the class. I cannot read, write and pronounce Chinese well at all. I need to try hard. Most of the time, I am busy with my works and study English at the evening at Norton University. I have short time to stuy Chinese.
I will try my best to study it.
